EMCG’s Annual Dinner is always a popular event in our calendar so, if you would like to come along, please contact Roger Roud as soon as possible to book your tickets as numbers are strictly limited.
Once again our entertainment will be provided by the popular band 'Ray's Relics'.
The Committee decided recently that it would be a nice touch to provide some spring bulbs for planting in the village and have obtained a mix of daffodil and crocus – 600 in all.
We now need to get them planted before the weather turns and so have arranged a working party for 10.30am on Friday 20th October 2017 meeting by the War Memorial opposite the King & Queen.
Please do join us if you can – and please bring with you any tools that will help with the job. Your reward will be (we hope!) a dazzling display of flowers next spring!
Over the Christmas and New Year period your waste will be collected one day later than usual. To check all the details please visit TMBC's website
The Annual EMCG Christmas Dinner was held on 3rd December at the Institute Hall when over 70 members and friends came together to enjoy some good company, food and entertainment. During the evening a raffle was held to raise funds for those in our community who face hard times. People gave very generously and we were able to present Father Nick Williams at St James the Great Church with a cheque for £100.
